Compatibility with Logic Pro 9 Since Apple released MacOS Sierra, we had to adapt our development standards to their new 10.12 SDK, leading to incompatibilities with Logic Pro 9. All our most recent instruments & effects are not compatible with Logic 9. I'm on a 2015 MBPR running Logic Studio w/ Logic Pro 9. It crashes whenever I try to bounce a project or when I try to enable recording. I've heard disabling iCloud Drive in Finder can fix it, but it isn't working for me and I've heard downgrading works but there is no El Capitan installer anymore. The key issue for Pro Tools, Logic Pro and Studio One users is to wait until Avid, Apple and PreSonus have announced they have a version of their DAW software that is macOS Mojave compatible, and then to wait until all the plug-in brands that you use as well as peripheral manufacturers are also supporting macOS Mojave 10.14 BEFORE you upgrade.

Logic not only crashes effusively but it and Safari freeze so badly that not even force quit can take it down. I'm thinking of building and extension on the back power button so that I can sit on the couch while I'm waiting the twelve hours of RE-loading Logic sound library essentials and software to see if that helps. Every reset listed, check. Every fresh install of Mojave, check. Every recovery mode , safe mode and pie a la mode has not helped.
